The Magic Carpet

Why this title ? Simply because when I was about to take this shot there wasn't any light beams, and I missed them awfully ... So I caught an old carpet which was lying on the ground and I began to run and shake it like an insane to raise the dust. There is nothing like an old crappy carpet to reveal beams, but I have to admit that we where really dirty when we left this place Roumi and I.

  • Amazing! I love the contrast and the repeating beams.

  • Wonderful shot! It has a very science fiction feel

  • Et ça marche ! Très belle lumière et athmosphère assez futuriste. Un petit air la Terry Gillian.

  • The sun hits the floor like laser beams. So beautiful.

  • great shot and an original technical tip but I don't think I'll carry one with me all the time. I take it that the writing on the wall expresses your final opinion on carpet waving?

  • Wow, what a cool shot. I like the lights and the b/w works very well. Excellent.

  • Thank You ! / Merci !

    > John Zeweniuk : I had the same feeling John. It reminds me the dock of an old spaceship navigating close to a star ;)

    > Al : hehe, I really laughed when I read your message :D. For the writing on the wall (well observed man !) it could have been my opinion about this old crappy carpet but in fact that was already there ;)

  • Bonjour Julien.
    Merci.
