  • Very dramatic shot. I love it. The clouds and the green roof work so well together. The bridge in the foreground holds it all together.

  • Nice composition but the exposure really does it for me. Brilliantly executed shot.

  • It's really cool how the bridge covers the shoreline. The woman walking down adds a lot, too.

  • I really really really like this image. i like the way the trees are going thru their life cycles as i look at them. i like the way the buildings just look amazing. is this a HDR shot? what lens filters do you use?

  • > Drazin : Thank you :). No this is not an HDR shot (supposing that a HDR is a multi exposure shot). There is only a single raw file. The effect is probably due to the fact that the sky was very dark and there was holes. The moment I took this picture was while the sun was illuminating the city through one of these holes. The light was really really special ;). Of course there is a bit of post-processing, but not so much in this one.

  • > Drazin : oups, I forgot to answer you second question. My filter ? Only a neutral B+W to protect my lens, nothing more :D

  • Lovely, dramatic shot. Nice job keeping the colours quite rich with the heavy contrast.

  • Superbe! Le ciel est impressionnant et la lumière absolument magnifique. Une très belle photo Julien! Ma fille est Montréal depuis hier et j'avoue que je suis impatient de lui rendre visite pour pouvoir admirer de telles choses.

  • Love the highlights of sunlight on the water and roof tops. This is the most lovely scene, and your capture of it is exquisite!
